Vintage Hand Painted Salt and Pepper Shakers Conical 1970s Floral Brown Gold A pair of tall conical salt and pepper shakers in hand painted ceramic, 16.5cm tall and 6.5cm diameter. The decoration is a bold autumnal floral design in burnt orange, brown and gold on a white ground, with painted banding at the shoulder and base. The tall conical form is distinctly 1970s in character and the hand painted finish gives each shaker its own slight variation. No maker’s mark visible. One shaker is in good condition throughout. The other has some minor historic damage to the rim area — small chips which have been previously repaired and glued back into place — and some minor crazing to the glaze at the top. The repair is stable and the damage is not visible from the front when displayed. Please see photos for full detail.
