Vintage Jersey Pottery Hand-Painted Ceramic Candle Holder A wonderfully sculptural vintage candle holder by Jersey Pottery, finished in rich shades of olive and moss green. The unusual stacked form combines a broad decorated base, rounded central section and cylindrical candle cup. The glossy green glaze has a softly brushed, variegated finish, while the base is decorated by hand with a repeating dark brown and pale green leaf-like motif. A particularly characterful example of vintage Jersey Pottery, with a distinctly mid-century feel and a lovely earthy palette. The underside carries the Jersey Pottery maker’s mark. There are a couple of extremely small, pinhole-sized nibbles/losses to the glaze around the base, along with minor signs of age and use. No significant chips, cracks or repairs observed.
