Vintage Jozefina Krosno Art Glass Compote, Cobalt Blue Twisted Stem Bowl

A striking vintage Polish art glass compote, attributed to Jozefina Krosno, in rich cobalt blue and white mottled glass. The sculptural design features a twisted blue glass stem, three scrolling supports and a clear circular foot, creating an unusual pedestal bowl with exceptional colour in natural light. This piece was identified as Jozefina Krosno at the point of purchase, and the form, colour and execution are consistent with examples of the studio’s collectible art glass. There is no surviving maker’s label, so it is offered as attributed to Jozefina Krosno rather than definitively identified. The mottled cobalt and white bowl sits above a clear glass foot, with the deep blue twisted stem rising through three scrolling supports. It is a particularly decorative piece of vintage glass and works equally well as a collector’s piece or as a sculptural accent in an interior. Condition: Very good vintage condition, with no chips, cracks or damage noted. Dimensions: Approx. 17 cm high × 17.5 cm diameter. Please see all photographs for details of the form, colour and condition.
