Vintage Milland Pottery Hampshire Studio Jug Brown White Slip 9cm

A small studio pottery jug, 9cm tall, by Milland Pottery — a working pottery based in the rural valley of Milland on the Hampshire and Sussex border within the South Downs National Park. Milland was established after the Second World War and continues today, producing wheel-thrown earthenware in the English country pottery tradition. The jug has a dark brown glaze with white slip decoration and the characteristic honest, functional form of the studio. Good vintage condition, no chips or damage. Height: 9cm. Estimated date: 1970s–1990s.
