Vintage Phoenician Green Marbled Art Glass Jug A beautiful small hand-blown art glass jug in swirling shades of sea green, sage and cream. The glass has a wonderfully fluid marbled appearance, with fine layers of colour running around the body and small bubbles and dark inclusions within the glass. Finished with an applied curved handle and an exaggerated pulled pouring lip, giving the little jug a particularly sculptural form. The variations, bubbles and irregularities within the glass are characteristic of its handmade construction and make each angle slightly different. A lovely piece of decorative art glass, equally attractive displayed alone or as part of a collection of studio and mid-century glass. Measurements: Approx. 8.5cm high × 8cm wide.
